Blues music is an American-African originated music genre based in the south of the united states around the 1870s. It provokes sad thoughts of injustice or the loss of someone dear to them, jobs and money. But it also has dance music which provokes entertainment and celebration of life. All in all, the music attributes different emotions regarding the different aspects of life. It was derived from African cultural music, bluegrass, country music, jazz etc.

History of country music
From the history of country music, we know that it has six generations, and they are as follows:

- Fifth-generation (1990’s – 2000’s)
- Sixth generation (2000’s – present)
The early recordings of country music included country dance tunes and ballads. The lead instruments here were the guitar and the fiddle. Apart from these, some other instruments played their role occasionally, and those were the mandolin and harmonica. Also, the vocals were done in a high close harmony or by a single voice.
The bias of country music had its charm with its lyrics about poverty, lonely workers away from their home and loved ones, and orphan kids. This had a special appeal during those times when there was a major shift in the population.
But times started changing, and commercialization had a major influence as country music became popular in various sections. All those famous singers recorded their songs in the Nashville style, while others recorded their music with an orchestral background.
Blues music was originated in 1870 with the expression of the blue devils. This drew people into serious visual illusions during alcohol withdrawal. The blues was a word that was usually referred to as the drunks and to show the emotion of disapproval or show the expression of depression. The blues became popular among the people, and they could relate to the expressions that this genre showcased.
