This post has been six weeks in the making, and while the end of March was a great self-imposed deadline, it was also an extended excuse to drag this project on for perfectionism–which is totally not me (yay, right!).
So when I popped open my calendar and saw that tomorrow’s the first day of spring, I decided to go off our usual editorial schedule by finishing today. That means two posts in one day, sure, but it also means I can share these Fall/Winter images with you on the last day of winter.
Plus, publishing these warm and fuzzy ensembles is another way for me to say good-bye to this awful New England winter. I want Spring–like real Spring to happen now! I’m done with snow piled up, freezing cold wind storms, and one- or negative-digit temperature. Aren’t you?
This was NOT the ideal winter to move back from sunny LA back to the Tri-state area. But I digress…
One thing that kept my snowed-in, winter cabin-fever days busy was securing Blogger Babes media partners for a number of exclusive invitation-only NYFW (New York Fashion Week) runway shows, events, and parties for our members.
This post is basically written to highlight our partners and acknowledge some awesome Blogger Babes members who made multiple NYFW events despite the snowstorms (thanks Ashley!), crazy work-blogging-photography schedules (thanks Jena!), and even flew last minute from LA to NY in between the Sundance and Oscars (thanks Ali)!
So this post was written in their words instead of mine.
On behalf of Blogger Babes, Heidi and I extend a very, very warm and fuzzy thank you to everyone who made this week totally awesome! We both look forward to sunnier, warmer spring days and more NYFWs together!
A quick personal thank you and acknowledgment to all our partners and each member of the Blogger Babes team (especially our personal assistant Marya). You were all extremely accommodating during the surprise family emergency which prevented me from promoting all the events as thoroughly as I hoped. But the great thing is we still established awesome relationships that could be built upon so we have ample time for future Tri-state events, not just NYFW.
I want you to see this post not only as a recap, but a teaser for why every female blogger and social media influencer in the Tri-state area, and any devout fashion and beauty blogger at all, should get on our Tri-state email list for future NYFW and Tri-state specific events and opportunities!
So without further ado…
Blogger Babes has Energy and Passion
It was a pleasure working with Ponn on 3 NYFW events that PR VEIN was promoting. I love her energy and passion, and look forward to working more closely with Blogger Babes in the future. ~ Erica Hicks, PR VEIN @FabPRgirl
Kimberly Goldson Preview
Thanks to Blogger Babes member and BB Jena Cumbo for her photography and Ashley Mone of OooLaLaFashion for her coverage of this beautiful designer preview.
Caravan Stylist Studio pre-NYFW Meditation
Blogger Babes member and celebrity stylist, Claudine of Caravan Studio (an incredibly awesome resource hub for all things fashion and beauty!) put together this unique pre-NYFW meditation for not just bloggers, models, stylists, but also PR reps, publicists, event organizers, etc. Working on NYFW was reason enough for me to desperately want to attend. Even though there was little time to actively promote when my family emergency hit, we’ll definitely work hard with Claudine next time around.
Blogger Babes is the ideal Media Partner for fashion and lifestyle events
COSIGN Launch Party
Thanks to Blogger Babes NYFW photographer Jena!
Blogger Babes was a Media Partner to our COSIGN NYFW Launch Party. Their top priority was to bring their members (bloggers and social media influencers) to our event. While they did bring members, they also attracted critical future partners to our business, such as Collective Bias (one of the largest blog networks in the country) and an Apple marketing rep–which was great considering COSIGN is an app.
Ponn did not stop at her role of Media Partner for our live event. She offered critical advice and feedback to the development of the app, website and blog platforms. Ponn’s commitment to our business success is obvious in all our correspondences with her.
Ponn’s energy and passion makes working together a pleasure and lots of fun. We look forward to each of our brainstorming or summary calls with her. She’s well-versed in affiliate marketing, publicity, event organization, and technical (blog, app, social media) development.
As a result, we look forward to maintaining a much closer relationship with Blogger Babes as we make a national tour in 2015 and beyond. We were lucky to have met Ponn and the Blogger Babes team. They make great partners! ~ Esosa Ighodaro and Abiodun Johnson, Co-Founders, COSIGN
MBFW Mongol Fall/Winter 2015 Collection
Blogger Babes member Olga of Dreams in Heels was the publicist and event organizer of the Mercedes-Benz Mongol Fall/Winter 2015 Collection. She garnered over 1000 attendees and looked stunning on the day of the show.
Blogger Babes member and official BB-NYFW representative, celebrity stylist Ali Levine walked the winter streets with her fashionably warm red poncho.

HarLove New York Fashion Week
It was a pleasure working with Ponn and the Blogger Babes team to help cover the HarLove NYFW Fashion Show. While on short notice, Ponn secured a Blogger Babes representative who was diligent in her coverage of the show. Now that we’re connected, we’ll have ample time to offer even more press passes to Blogger Babes members in the future!
Dario Mohr, CEO and Founder of AnkhLave Mind Media, Dariomohrart.com
Thanks Dario for the Blogger Babes shout out and images with Ali. She had a great time!
AMCONYC PopUp and Runway 2015
We announced in our Tri-state newsletter that AMCONYC (note our featured image) held an open-model casting, which our members were invited to attend. Although no one showed up, hopefully next time not just one but multiple members will be able to walk in 6-inch heels and strut down the runway for an opportunity to be a NYFW runway model.
Ali was able to share a brief mention of NYFW in Layers Are Your Best Friend In Fashion – Celebnmusic247 and on 47 of Media. Thanks Ali!
Blogger Babes has close relationships with key players in NYFW!
Nolcha Fashion Week Show
Congrats Jena for your huge photo gallery of this show!
I was hired by the Village Voice to produce a NYFW Fall/Winter 2015 behind-the-scene photo gallery. Ponn worked hard to get me press passes as a Blogger Babes photographer to more NYFW events than I could attend (even the most prestigious of shows!). She organized preferred runway seating and behind-the-scenes designer access to help me achieve my goal. As a result, the Village Voice published a gallery of images featuring the many designers and attendees at this season’s Nolcha show.
If you want to attend/or be connected with one of the world’s renowed fashion weeks, become a Blogger Babes member and get on Ponn’s private Tri-state email list now! ~ Jena Cumbo of Jena Cumbo Photography @jenacumbo
Michael DePaulo presentation
Blogger Babes member and celebrity stylist, Claudine also worked on preparing and publicizing this show.
A Kardashian favorite and Forbes 30 under 30 2015 fashion stylist, this was a show not to be missed. Unfortunately, poor weather prevented Blogger Babes from attending. But we appreciate the opportunity to partner with them, and look forward to drier, safer days for future LaQuan Smith shows.
